My name is Debbie and I am your host at Old Dairy Farm. I will personally look after you to make your stay here a comfortable and relaxing experience.
Taking a bit of a back seat in the B&B is my husband Adrian, you will see around the farm doing all the maintenance and odd jobs but he is always happy to help with questions or information about the area during your stay with us.
About the Farm
Old Dairy Farm is no longer run as a dairy farm. After a 4 year battle to get planning permission, the derelict stables and milk shed were demolished in 2009 and have been replaced with our family home and purpose built bed and breakfast accommodation offering our guests ground floor accommodation and their own private entrance.
The run down stables have been replaced with a modern timber built stable yard. We run a livery yard for our own horses and local people who choose to keep their horses in 5 star luxury. Whilst staying at Old Dairy Farm, you can enjoy seeing the horses grazing in the paddocks or munching away on their hay nets in the stables. What a life!
For the comfort of all our guests, we do not allow dogs in our guest rooms. We do have our own dogs who may come and say hello during your stay; Bella, a chocolate Labrador, possibly the sweetest natured dog you will ever meet and Bruce, our daughter’s Jack Russell who is typical of the breed – small dog with the personality of a Rottweiler!!! Oh and not forgetting Fudge, who is now nearly 17, a cross between a Jack Russell and Chinese Crested, a little odd looking but very sweet natured. Bless her she spends most of her time sleeping but often pays a visit to our guests for a little gentle stroke.
“We had the best time in the best place! Thank you for everything.” Trevor & Jai
